“I had a roof venting system removed and a power vent installed. My estimated install date was delayed due to storm damage to other homes in my area causing a bit of a back log of repairs. The guardian tech was great, good communication and did a clean install. The electrician that hooked up the power vent incorrectly set the humidity setting. After the power vent ran continuously for 2 weeks I checked in with Guardian, I was told this could be normal for the weather we were having. Eventually I went up and checked the humidity setting, it was incorrectly set, should have been on 80% humidity, but the arrow was inverted and would have continued to run non-stop. After adjusting the setting to 80% it shut down and has run correctly ever since.”
